Nick Barker has been a familiar painting hanging on the walls of the Australian music scene since the late 1980s .Starting off as a bass player with The Wreckery  in Melbourne’s post-punk scene, Nick fronted Nick Barker and the Reptiles for four years, moving on to a solo career in 1994. Since then, he has released nine solo albums, toured all over the world and written songs with the likes of Tim Rogers, Paul Kelly, Jimmy Barnes,Vika and Linda and Felicity Urquhart . All that said and done,  he seems  happiest on stage for that 90 minutes or so ,Some old guitar ,a beer  and an audience , real songs and a few stories.
