Songs From The Book of Life is eight scenes around eight songs, two

performers examine the nature of performing, a musical life, the notions of what

people know and don’t know about a career lived over four decades in public.

Deborah Conway and Willy Zygier play themselves (mostly) as they navigate through

strange vignettes told with unflinching honesty. Accompanied live by a life’s work of

original song, interactive archival video, movement and design, Songs From The Book

of Life is an expression of the irrepressible desire to let it all hang out. The show runs

approximately 80 minutes, no interval. It consists of a cast of two & a crew of two,

with simple, effective staging.
